Reiki Master & Andean Healer Initiation Retreat
Reiki can be a beautiful way to connect to the Universal Life Force and channel it down to our everyday life, both for healing others as well as ourselves. The advanced Reiki Master level course will allow Reiki practitioners to connect more deeply to their healing powers, as well as to receive the attunements needed for teaching and accessing the deepest source of most illnesses and suffering. This course is fit for practitioners who have finished their Reiki Level II practice & cleanse by the time the retreat begins.
This retreat consists of two Reiki Master level attunements, one Andean Shamanic Initiation (Q'ero Karpay), multiple healing classes including Advanced Reiki, Guided Extractions, Psychic Healing & Soul Retrieval, One-on-one healings, Sound healings, Spa sessions, Esalen massage, visits to Sacred Sites, Yoga Nidra/Yoga classes, Cacao ceremony, Rapé ceremony & optional Plant Medicine ceremonies.
Kali Wasi prides itself on hosting intimate groups (4-8 guests per retreat) so that each participant can receive the one-on-one attention that this great internal work deserves - from our healers, our teachers and and the retreat at large.

Summary:
On our first day, we will arrive at our retreat center in time for a delicious vegetarian lunch. Our home center is located in the beautiful town of Taray, right in the midst of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The sacred mountain Apu Linli stands tall over our home, along with other beautiful mountains and green pastures that surround us.
During our Welcome Ceremony, we will initiate a couple of items & practices that will accompany us throughout our journey:
Gifted crystal - On this day, we will gift you a crystal, which you will be charging throughout the retreat in the different ceremonies. This crystal will then be charged with all the energy from the magical area of Sacred Valley, as well as with all the lessons from your journey, for you to take home.
Journal - On this day you will be gifted a local artisan journal which you'll be able to take home, and which is intended for you to express yourself throughout your journey, as this type of coursework tends to be deeply healing for the participant as well as educational.
Intention - During this ceremony we will share our intentions for receiving the attunements, coursework and initiations included in the retreat. *During the days prior to the retreat, please take time and space to meditate on that which you would like to heal, transform and become, as well as things you may be ready to let go of from your life
We will then have some free time to settle into our rooms, meditate, walk around, etc. until we reconvene for our Q'ero Andean Shamanic Initiation or Karpay. Our first karpay will be a beautiful ceremony of deep spiritual transformation and alignment. Please prepare to receive this sacred ancient initiation by meditating on your intention, and choosing your offering to Pachamama / Mother Earth. Our work for the Pachamama karpay will be led by a traditional Q'ero Paqo (shaman) from the Andes.
The Q'ero Karpay will allow us to make the most out of our environment by opening the gates of connection to all the Sacred Mountains of the Valley. These mountains are known to the local cultures as 'Apus', sacred mountains inhabited by the gods themselves, each with their own powerful spirit.

Summary:
We will start our second day with a Yoga Nidra class, where we will journey to a sleep-like state to activate different parts of our energy body for deeper relaxation & integration of our karpay ceremony. On this morning, we will also check in with our original Reiki Master intentions, as we prepare for our first Reiki Master level class.

Our Reiki Master coursework will be led by Kali Wasi's Tati Rabell. Tati is a Reiki Master Teacher living and working as a healer in the Sacred Valley of Peru, specializing in integrating Soul Retrieval and other shamanic healing practices with Reiki, for a fully immersive experience. Tati received her Reiki training during her years living in Los Angeles, California, and she carries the Usui Reiki lineage from her teacher Aimee Bello. She has additionally studied with shamanic healers & psychic healers from multiple parts of the world including Peru.
After our first class, you will have some free time for your option of Spa treatments, Esalen massage, Private healings with one of our healers (see www.kaliwasi.com/about), or simply walking around and enjoying the beautiful towns of Taray or Pisac, which has a beautiful traditional market along with other shopping and cafés!
For our second evening, we will offer you a Rapé ceremony. Rapé is sacred tobacco powder from the Amazonian jungle that is blown into the nostrils with a special pipe or Tepi. The benefits of this medicine include: clearing the mind, clearing energetic blocks or entities, grounding, chakra alignment, and Third eye decalcification amongst others. This medicine can enhance your overall well-being and immune system, as well as help you open up further to receive your next attunement.

Summary:
We will start our third day with an invigorating yoga class. Then after breakfast, we will regroup for our second Reiki class, and for our first Reiki Master level attunement - the Master practitioner symbol. We will additionally study some shamanic healing practices that can be integrated with your Master-level Reiki practices.
After lunch, you will have free time to rest, receive massages, visit the Spa, or visit the town of Pisac. In the late afternoon you will return to the center to receive a relaxing Reiki Sound Bath using crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, chakra chimes, drums and other healing instruments integrated with some group Reiki practices. Sound baths can be a magical way to get us in touch with our subconscious, allowing the body to relax, restore and be nurtured, all whilst aligning our chakra system and clearing our energy body.

Summary:
We will start our fourth day with some nourishing Yoga Nidra, then after breakfast, we will take a break from the classroom and go for a replenishing riverside walk!
The Pisac river trail borders the ancient Pisac ruins and is thus filled with powerful energy, aside from being a gorgeous natural setting. This nature walk will further help us enter a peaceful state of mind, which will help us further integrate our attunements as well as the new skills learned. We will return in time for lunch, and then regroup for an afternoon group Reiki session where we will practice and integrate our new learnings!

Summary:
After breakfast on Day 5, we will travel to Kinsa Cocha to receive the magical energy of these sacred lakes. At 4000m in altitude, this remote region is a beautiful sacred land where we can make an offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and thank her for our journey. We will do a short ceremony in the form of guided breath work and Shamanic journeying, and then we will take advantage of these intense sacred energies to practice our new Reiki Master skills.
After our visit, you will have some free time to replenish, visit the Spa, get a massage or receive your 1:1 healing session.

Summary:
On our sixth day, we will start with start with an invigorating yoga class, then after breakfast, we will come together for our final Reiki Master level class: teaching Reiki & giving attunements. At this time you will receive your Reiki Master Teacher attunement, where you will receive the final symbols in the Reiki series, along with the ability to attune others.
You will then have some free time to integrate these powerful energies, receive massages, Spa sessions or 1:1 healings. Then in the early evening we will then regroup for some farewell activities, including dinner & Cacao ceremony!
Cacao tea is a sacred and ancient brew, with heart opening properties (our recipe has been handed down from the Mexican Mayan tradition). This ceremony will greatly help balance our emotions and energy, as well as rejoice in the hard work completed & the progress achieved.

Summary:
After breakfast on the 7th day, we will have a short farewell ceremony where we will come together in gratitude, to share experiences, questions & insights from our journey. Here we will also perform a Magic Crystal ceremony where we will finalize the charging and activation of our gifted crystals, so that you can then carry the energy of the full journey wherever you go..
Those of you who decide to stay for the afternoon tour will visit the Inka Ruins of Pisac. Once at the Pisac Ruins, since our energetic body will be clean and open from the week's ceremonies, you will be receiving the ancient sacred energies of this magical site to aid and guide your ongoing inner journey. After the ruins those of you who will be receiving your Andean Shamanic Healer initiation will follow our Q'ero Paqo to a sacred site in the mountains for your Healer Mesa Karpay.
Then in the evening, those of you who plan to stay for the next day's Huachuma ceremony will have a chance to infuse your own intentions and blessings into the medicine batch we will be drinking the next day while it finishes cooking.
We will also be singing medicine songs into the brew for added blessings.

(Optional) In the morning of our eighth day, we will travel to our Huachuma location for a beautiful nature experience. San Pedro, or Huachuma, as it is known in its native language, is a heart opening, grounding medicine that will help you integrate the lessons learned throughout the week, as well as provide helpful insights to take home with you and on your life journey.
We will start our ceremony with a guided meditation to support the start of the journey with our individual intentions. Then throughout the day we will combine other group activities like mandala making, Drum meditation, Dance meditation, guided breath work, group Medicine Songs, Rapé and other offerings that will assist your healing journey. We will then wrap-up the evening with a medicine-friendly dinner and Fire ceremony, where we will be able to burn and release everything we want to let go of, for a new and refreshed You.
