Summary:

On our first day, we will arrive at our retreat center in time for a light medicine-friendly lunch. Our home center is located in the beautiful town of Taray, right in the midst of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The sacred mountain Apu Linli stands tall over our home, along with other beautiful mountains and green pastures that surround us.

During our Welcome Ceremony, we will initiate a few items & practices that will accompany us throughout our journey:

  • Gifted crystal - On this day, we will gift you a crystal, which you will be charging throughout the retreat in the different ceremonies. This crystal will then be charged with all the energy from the magical area of Sacred Valley, as well as with all the lessons from your journey, for you to take home.

  • Our intention - During this ceremony we will share our healing intention, which we will individually track & further develop throughout the week. *During the days prior to the retreat, please take time and space to meditate on that which you would like to heal, as well as your purpose or intention in joining the retreat. This type of meditation will allow you to better prepare yourself to receive the gifts that the medicine and all other events will have in store for your healing.

After taking some time to settle in & meditate on our intentions, we will regroup for our first Ayahuasca ceremony. Our ceremonies are led by shamans . We work only with shamans of the highest vibration, with extremely loving energy & decades of experience in the healing arts as a whole.

OUR AYAHUASCA SHAMANS

Our Ayahuasca ceremonies are led by master teachers of the Sacred Plant in multiple traditions, all of whom have multiple decades of experience, and some were even born into the tradition. We hold our shamans in the highest of regards, as they create a sacred and safe space for our participants to do their inner work. We feel proud to work only with shamans of high quality and experience, and with the biggest of hearts.. Please inquire on availability if you have a preference for the shaman of your retreat!

In the morning of Day 6, we will travel to Kinsa Cocha to experience the magical energy of these sacred lakes. At 4000m in altitude, this remote region is a beautiful sacred land where we can make an offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and thank her for our journey. We will walk around the main lake, and at certain sacred spots we will come together for a short integration ceremony or circle. The healing energy of Kinsa Cocha and the surrounding Apus (sacred mountains) will help us receive any final messages for our journey, along with sharing her beautiful loving energy with us as a reward for all the hard work..

After our visit, we will have some free time for any final healings, massages or Spa sessions. Then in the early evening we will regroup for a Cacao ceremony!

Cacao tea is a sacred and ancient brew, with heart opening properties (our recipe has been handed down from the Mexican Mayan tradition). This ceremony will greatly help balance our emotions and energy, as well as rejoice in the hard work completed & the progress achieved so far. Cacao is also a heart-opening medicine, and thus will help us open up to receive the next day's medicine.

    Testimonials

★★★★★ - Small groups are key. Wonderful place

I had been working with shamans to purify and strengthen my body, mind and soul for five years when I discovered Kali Wasi. Things were going well. But they brought my work deeper and helped me to improve it. Tatiana and Tom, the Kali Wasi facilitators, have made something really very special there in the Taray neighborhood of Pisac, near Cusco, Peru. What first attracted me to their retreats specifically was that they insisted on only small groups. Maximum 8 participants, they told me. At my retreat, we were only 5. With the two of them plus two other shamans through the course of our 10 day experience, the personal attention we received was comforting, powerful and wonderful. In the course of our time together, we worked with Ayahuasca, Huachuma/San Pedro, and sacred snuff, plus a wonderful set of additional exercises including Esalen massage, acupuncture, soul retrieval, crystal work, guided and unguided meditation, visits to sacred sites and a spa experience of sauna, salt scrub and floral bath. I also chose to extend the experience by one day to be initiated into Reiki practice with Tatiana. Tom and Tatiana bring years of experience in helping people. Their sensitivity, strength and support were key ingredients to my healing and growth. But they have also put together an amazing team of shamans and other professionals, each a top expert in their field, especially Paul Diamond's expertise with Ayahuasca, qigong and acupuncture. Five months have passed since my time at Kali Wasi, and even today I am feeling tangible effects from my Retreat with them. My joy point (my happiness base line) has risen noticeably, and I find it easier to make healthy decisions in my diet and recreation habits. Of course these extended effects are due largely to my continued improved habits in these months. But Kali Wasi facilitated also this by a) sending me off on my way detoxed and feeling strong, b) giving me lots of perspective and advice how to integrate all that I had learned with them and c) continuing to support me, by email when I needed and also with long distance Reiki sessions (at extra charge) at my request. I know I will be back to work with them again some day, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone on a spiritual or health-seeking path.

    ★★★★★ - Life-Changing doesn't do this retreat justice.

How does one really describe in the limited English language how incredibly life-changing my time was @Kali Wasi? From the amazing fresh food to the sacred space to the sweet souls who own this retreat there was nothing left to want for. I went in with an open mind, as this was my first time doing anything like this, and I was blown away by what I experienced. They thought of everything. I felt like I was a part of their family while I was there. They offer amazing services and the healing that happened was so beautiful. If you have ever met someone and knew right off the bat that they were good souls, that they were coming from a place of really wanting to serve, then you will find the familiarity here too. My journey there with the plant medicine was beautifully intense and exactly what I needed. I left the retreat a different person on every level. Words can not describe how thankful I am for Tati and Tom and the Kali Wasi retreat. I love the work they are doing and have already recommended it to some of my friends back home. If you are feeling called to do something like this, then I would highly recommend you look into this retreat @Kali Wasi. With gratitude and love, Kristin
